Creating a Terrarium could be easy since you simply need to get some well-shaped bottle or glass object and fill it up with the soil and plants you have. But if you want to take it to a more custom-made result, these hand-blown pieces from Liz Boscacci for Bevara Design should be something neat and classy to juice up your home.

Glass is blown to take shape, made constantly before the mouth of it all is cut. Each Terrarium is etched with the designer and producer’s name before you can start laying in the plants. In case you are unfamiliar on how to go about it, here is a brief overview:

“To plant the terrariums, you first lay down a layer of gravel, then a layer of charcoal to absorb excess water, then the planting soil. We have found that a large number of artists have purchased these pieces, because the shape lends itself well to sort of a curated collection of plants since there are dimensional constraints. This has been an added perk to the design: some very lovely and artistic creations.”
